The Eiffel Tower in Paris is one of the wonders of the world and it was constructed to commemorate the Centenary of the French Revolution. French Engineer Gustave Eiffel designed and built it. This tower attracts thousands of visitors every day and thus it is acclaimed as one of the most popular tourist spots of the world in general and France in particular. This 19th century marvel stands at 324 meters tall. It was the tallest construction till 1930 when Chrysler Building in New York replaced it. Its structure is made of iron weighing 10,000 tonnes.

Eiffel Tower has three levels meant for visitors. Visitors may buy the tickets to ascend the tower either by stairs or by lifts to the first and the second levels. The third level is accessible only by the lift. There are lots of restaurants in the first and the second levels. There are more than 600 steps between the ground and the first level and between the first level and the second level. The sun-set view from the top level of the tower is truly a breath-taking experience.
